There was… an idea. To bring together a group remarkable writers, superfolders who stuck through Noah’s MOU through thick and thin, to give thanks, to thank him for inspiring us and touching hearts across the country!
And ths Superfolders delivered, essays were sent in, and it all culminated into… the MarvelOUs Files.
A collection of myself, Guillermo, Origami Master 53, Peyton, Jar Jar, Jawa, and CD’s thoughts, namely on specific chapters of Noah’s saga, and today, it is released not only to him, but to the world!!
what a wild ride it’s been, right? from the announcment to the MOU and ROU crossover, to Ready Puppet One. To the fall of Chase Kemp and to the rise of Dennis Walker. It’s been an honor to bring this to you, and I wanna leave you with something.
The creation of The Folded Connections in Foldtastic Four wasn’t a Fak Out.
Until next time, this is Hades. You’re on Superfolder Central. Good night. A
Aw shucks, I’m tearing up.
Well, well, well. Been a while, huh? Well, Dane here, finally with some good news and what might just be my final news drop for the ROU! Geez, sorry, if I’m emotional. Time just flies by so fast. I still remember last December where Peyton was struggling to edit Pleaty Jackson One, and the next day, boom, I was on the council. Now, I’m editing and posting my own, and all of your amazing stories. It’s awesome!
So, the first piece of news. Since the ROU’s conception, we’ve held onto the name “Riordan Origami Universe,” well, no more of that, now, now we have a new name… The Percy Jackson Origami Universe.
Next up, The Iliad is out! Go check it out, spoilers below.
So, now, I’m happy to share with you the first half of… Fold 3: The Odyssey
The Return of Luke CastePleat- By SF Hades
Ł()K!- By SF Thrawn
Label Levesque and The Hunters of Art-emis- By SF Donatello
Nico Di AngeFold and Origami Will Solace: The Town of Nero- By SF Hades
Annashred: The Trials of Artpollo- By SF Hades
The Foust Chronicles: The Caesar Shadow- By SF Thrawn
There’s six more stories after this one, ones that I’m saving for another day. (Including a character you’ve all been begging for) And ROU Fold 3 isn’t even set in stone yet. That’s where you all come in, mythology is universal. From the Hades and God of War video games, to musicals like Hadestown, and Disney’s Hercules. Even now, you can expect a crossover with the MOU’s Norse gods with Ł()K!, yes, you heard that right. An MOU crossover. And there’s room for more as this universe nears its final fold.
The ROU is dead.
Long live the PJOU.
so, hades here, the ROU panel is in thirty minutes, and after that there’s the MOU panel, 6:00PM CT. I’m telling you this because Noah will be going live in the SFC youtube channel where he’ll be doing a live q&a and drawing, so just be sure to tune in. k? k. okay.

Q: When’s the next BTFolds story?
A: A few hours from when this is posted! -Hades
Q: Peyton, How is The Thing Burger research going?
A: Hey! So to explain the concept of the “thing burger,” there was a burger to promote the release of 2015’s “Fantastic Four,” Sometimes called “Fant4stic” to separate it from the older films. The burger, dubbed the Thing Burger, was found at Denny’s throughout the nation, along with other skillets and plates for the other members. The thing burger consisted of a bun with burned-on cheese (to give it a rocky texture), a patty, cheese, hashbrowns, egg, bacon, and “Punch Packing” Thing sauce. The concept of “Thing Sauce” is, firstly, revolting. Combine that with the idea that the thing sauce is on this hulk-of-a-burger that comes it at 1,350 calories alone (1,950 with the addition of fries – your body needs about 2k a day!) This burger sounds terrible. But I want to know what the thing sauce is.
I run a youtube channel (Peyton Writes!) Which will discuss things like this, along with other random topics. In all the research I’ve done, I can’t figure out what the thing sauce is… So, it scares me.
Stay tuned for the video, though!
Q: What’s the best burger you ate and where?
A: David’s Burgers, June 14th, 2021. -Hades
A: The best burger I’ve ever eaten was at a place in St. Louis. It was a bacon barbecue burger cooked to perfection, with amazing bacon, barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomato, and fried onions on top. Amazing. -Noah
A: The best burger I’ve ever had was on a cruise ship at a Guy Fieri’s place called Guy Fieri’s burgers and Fries. I would get lettuce, Ketchup, and I’d put potato sticks on there, which gave an extra crunch. I miss it daily, and I still put potato sticks on most burgers I make or have. -Peyton
Q: Camster, I can’t help but feel like you’re legally blind. Is this true?
A: No. -Camster
Q: Jar Jar, Have you ever tried British coffee?
A: Yes, but not enough shamrocks for my taste. -Jar Jar
Q: Have you ever tried making a pet character?
A: Clark has a mouse, and Mac will be getting a dog in the ROU’s Fold 3! -Hades
Q: Hades, why did you choose Lance and Amy out of all the characters?
A: The idea of using Debbie Don’s as Camp Half-Blood came to me first, and I later realized that Lance and Amy really had some interesting parallels between Mac and Ximena, and even later on I realized that Lance’s hopefulness, and Amy’s grumpy demeanor were just like Chiron and Mr. D! -Hades
Q: WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK OF VIDEO PLEATS!?!?!
A: I have to admit, I was, and still slightly am, iffy on the concept, but love the creative freedom it brings, and really hope that OM keeps learning and improving using this universe of his own as a venue. -Hades
A: Om5I think Video Pleats is a great idea, since video games are such a huge part of pop culture now. I especially love the fact that Zelda was the first story, since Zelda is my favorite video game series of all time! -Noah
A: I REALLY LIKE IT! But in all seriousness; I enjoy the Video Pleats Origami Universe. It’s a nice change of pace, the stories are all full of heart, and they’re really easy and fun to read; I should know! I’ve read all of them and been the primary editor for them. I think the concept of a connected school is a bit tough to do, but I am excited to see where it goes. -Peyton
Q: Thrawn’s dog, why did you eat his garlic bread?
A: Given that the council does not represent Thrawn’s dog, this question will go unanswered. -Hades
Q: What is the weirdest pitch you’ve ever heard for an OU?
A: I don’t want to publicly call out any users, but The Hunger Games is a bit of a weird pitch. Oh, and also Miss Peregrine. -Hades
A: The absolute weirdest pitch was from around 2013-14. Somebody wanted to write a story about Dwight going to Japan and becoming Manga Dwight for real, and he would beat up Japanese bullies with Origami Yoda by his side. It was very strange. -Noah
A: The weirdest pitch for an OU/Story I’ve heard has to be a horror ou. Firstly, I don’t think horror and origami blend well. I think that it’s a tough thing to do, and it quickly crumbles under the realization that our Puppet Fiction is not built for that genre. Not only that, but then you make it connected??? So does that mean that Penny-Wise (A penny with clown makeup) Will meet Alien-igami? Will Jason Vorcrease fight Penny-wise and Freddy Creaser in front of Creasethulu? How does that logistically work? When you take a genre and slap “OU” on it, I think there’s a big risk to it. You can’t really make, say, Cartoons connected, or Anime. It would be like if we made a “Fiction OU,” like, how? Or the one time we had planned for a Spy Origami universe, complete with Jason Bourne, John Wick, James Bond, Alex Rider, and more. I think having Horror stories may be possible for BTFolds, but not a connected Horror OU. -Peyton
Q: Jawa, do you like spicy chicken wings?
A: Yes -Jawa
Q: How have you seen SFC grow in the last year?
A: I like to think that SFC has grown so exponentially since last year, and I like to think I might’ve played a role in that. Take Thrawn, a few months ago he bragged about how Art Trek- 5,000 words- was his longest tale, now I’ve seen him write stuff that’s double in length and in quality. In the MOU and the DCOU, I’ve watched, too. And it’s so cool seeing you all grow, and it feels like just yesterday we were all producing mediocre schlocky tales in episode formats, (Guilty.) but now, look at you all! Keep on keeping on guys, you all have big things ahead of you. -Hades
A: To be perfectly honest, because of graduating and college and work, I haven’t been around the SFC as much as I would’ve liked this year. However, it’s crazy how much it’s grown even since six months ago. There’s so many stories and characters going on that it’s hard to keep track, and that’s such a cool thing. -Noah
A: I haven’t seen it grow at all. JKJK DON’T PUT THAT. Honestly, I’ve been here since 2012. I came and went, I have left and come back, but I have seen the most growth in not just the writing, but also in the community. We have a discord, and it’s great to see you guys interact and have fun. I have seen a lot of growth in the writing abilities as well. Now, what we could do is blend these together – the tight nit community, along with the honesty found there, could be suited to criticism (constructive, of course), on the stories, so that the writing (which is already pretty darn amazing) could soar to even higher reaches. Keep interacting! Keep writing! But we could use a lot more commentary on what’s being posted – what did you like about the story, rather than commenting “Great Job!”? What do you want to see happen? Theorize on the MOU, DCOU, WFOU, VGOU, PJOU, get conversations moving!
And that’s all for now, gang.
Hey Superfolders!!! Even though I’m not (currently, yes that may be a possible clue) involved in any universes I wanted to do a panel! So here are some of my upcoming stories
Shredder Things: a Stranger Things story. This will be btfolds. I wanna keep the plot a mystery…for now
Origami TMNT 2: Now, I’m gonna be honest. The first wasn’t all that good, but don’t worry! I think I’ve really improved as a writer, this will be better with pacing and dialogue.
OriMario, this will be set after super smash folds and will be about a new hero. Fred Yokio. The Supcrease Army is defeated right?, I mean at least not all of them
Ready Puppet One: Okay, I’m super excited about this one! Wyatt Cline, a fourteen year old boy is intrigued by the new pop culture club (O.A.S.I.S) and decides to fold a puppet (pun to be decided) please expect lots of pop culture references and some cringe dialogue!!! I said this would be similar to the book, after all.
There’s a few more, but I probobly shouldn’t leak them here. (Check out the ROU panel for that) Oh wait, one more thing! Who took my Mac n cheese. I’m totally not mad and if you just tell me I (probably) won’t snap.
That’s all, folks!
no I can’t legally say that
Oh god the feds are outside my home
Note from Hades: I’d like to take this moment to clarify upon the concept of claiming stories. You can write whatever you want, and announce it whenever you want, but alot of users have clamored to “claiming” worlds, and example of which include Stranger Things and Ready Player One. Ultimately, more than one Origami adaptation can exist of certain properties. There’s over twenty versions of Spider-Fold in the MOU, the DCOU has two Bat-Folds, and the ROU has three Pleaty Jacksons, literally, you can write whatever you want, no need to claim it, and no need to feel bad when someone else takes a story idea you had, as long as both adaptations make sure to bring something new to the table.
It’s been a while, my friends! There are plenty of excuses for my absence, I promise, but I figured that I would make it up to all with my very own panel, along with some stories set to release this year.
First, we’ll start off with Falcut: Where’s Cap!? It’s an MOU story I’ve been working on for a while now, and thankfully finished! And guess what? You can read it soon! It’ll be out today, hopefully. If I don’t procrastinate too much, that is.
A brief rundown of what it’s all about: Laura and Lucas (the canon MOU Falcon) end up finding two potential candidates for the new title of Captain Americut. However, problems arise when the rejected candidate decides to stir up trouble in retaliation. Lucas must work with the other awaiting candidate (Ruffindor Abramovich), even if their relationship is a little…rocky.
The next thing I want to announce is the return of Dragon Fold Z! While the AFOU is scrapped, I will be writing a one-off series about a boy trying to liven up his space camp experience with Dragon Ball themed puppets.
The tales of Leatherfold will return! This time, following the story of Arnold Kent, a boy who’s being persuaded by his best friend to investigate the strange case of Leatherfold. It will, too, be a one-off series.
Lastly, we got Green Arrowigami: Dart Country! It is currently in the works, and I plan on it being released sometime next month. This time, Cooper King will be travelling to southern Louisiana with his former enemy, Red Dart. But even being in an entirely new place can cause consequences.
And that’s all! I hope you guys enjoyed my panel. Until next time!
– SuperFolder YodaForce.
Hey, SFC! CD here with a big announcement: i’m working on a new series! Now, over the years there have been a lot of puppet fiction adaptations of The Mandalorian. First there was “The Mandafoldian” (by SF Guillermo), next there was “The Foldalorian” (by SLS), and now my adaptation, which I would like to announce is called “The Micahlorian.”
However, while the two other adaptations were released as one singular story, the Micahlorian will be split into three parts.
This trilogy follows Captain Micah immediately after the events of Emperor Pickletine Rides the Bus, when Origami Yoda boards the Mail-lennium Falcon and is sent to help Captain Micah. Micah, at first, wants nothing to do with him, but slowly discovers that Origami Yoda gives great advice. Micah takes him to school to help solve all of his problems, which he does! But, just when all seems well for Micah, he recieves a distress call from McQuarrie Middle School, saying that Origami Yoda must return, for a new threat has risen…
What is this new threat? Who sent the distress call? All will be revealed when The Micahlorian is released!
